If you observe a shooting star, across the sky, does this really bring one good luck or is this just an old wives tale?

Hmmm... I enjoy thinking that it brings good luck! I mean, just last night, about 15 minutes after sunset, I saw a shooting star, and a couple hours later, a really good friend called! I'd like to think it was good luck instead of him just returning my call!! ^_^

yes if you believe in it. I sow 2 last month im stil waiting for my wish to come true. Either way it made me full good.

about 8 yrs ago.. i saw an amazing shooting star that was really big with a long tail that sparked out of the atmosphere like a fire work.. it flew by just as we were about to drive over a bridge. it was pretty cool! i happened to be with someone that i truly loved & we had a moment, so i believe they are good luck!!

Some years back, I lay with the girl of my dreams, in a park, on a starry night, on our backs looking at the sky. ... Yes, all of a sudden quite there was this bright shooting star crossing the whole sky in a flash! ... We both made our wishes and she asked me what mine was but I said that's no good! If I tell you it won't come true, so I promise to tell when it's happened. ... She was happy with that and every so often, over a number of years, she would ask me what my wish had been back there. ... Unfortunately I can't remember, just forgotten my wish but I have a gut feeling that it must have come true because an awful lot of good things have happened to us. We laugh about this often.

Many believe that it does and I guess anything is possible if you believe enough in it. I have never had the experience, but you can bet I'll be looking skyward for that shooting star and wishing for lower gas prices--and then we'll all know if my wish came true...
