yes. very. but everyone i meet tends to say that i dont exactly know the definition of a "normal" family or a "normal" person. everyone's different and has their own odd qualities that make them unique

Actually, mine's really pretty normal. Luckily, I have enough weird to cover the whole family, so we're good.

My wife and I agree that we are about the only normal ones in our respective families of origin, but nobody is too extremely or interestingly off the wall.

in a word, YES. i've discovered this by the strange looks i get when telling family stories. i honestly thought everyone was as weird as we are...suppose not.
