Very... :-( It comes as the result of having very low self-esteem about my appearance for years and years and years, and then suddenly realizing I was attractive. When I gained confidence, it was like a snowball effect...with each compliment that rolled in I became more and more egotistical. I'm very vain now, and constantly worrying about little things such as dry skin on the end of my nose, how unattractive my hands look, and which skirt makes my best assets look better.

At times, but not when it comes to my son. He's the only person/thing that comes first in my life.

That is the natural state of babies and children..as one grows up and looks out at the world and especially after one becomes a parent, being self-absorbed is self-defeating..the world doesn't really revolve around you..you are not the most important thing in your world..if you are an adult and still self-absorbed I feel very sorry for those in your life who depend on you..you won't even notice them. :(
