  • Yes, I think that the investigators now are at the bottom of the barrel -- exhausting all options and all possibilities.
  • I don't know, and I think speculation is very dangerous.
  • I have no evidence on which to base an opinion.
  • Allegedly, they found Madeleine’s blood in a car she rented 25 days after Madeleine McCann’s disappearance. http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/europe/09/07/madeleine.mccann/index.html?eref=rss_mostpopular I desperately want to believe that Kate could not kidnap/murder her own child…but that evidence is troubling.
  • It's time to bring in a proper police force to investigate it openly and above board, not shrouded in secrecy allowing innuendo to damage the case. Guilty or innocent? without the portugese we may find out.
  • I am just scared that the juggernaut will turn into a Lindy Chemberlain or Sally Clarke case, where 'must have done it' circumstantial evidence led to a conviction. At the time of those cases, I recall thinking, 'They wouldn't have brought these prosecutions without having incontravertible and compelling evidence, they must know more than we do, so there must be guilt.' And, of course, they weren't guilty. For instance, questions are raised about Kate saying 'They've taken her' ie. using the plural. This is a perfectly normal northern way of expressing 'someone unknown'. I still find it inconceivable that the McCanns are guilty of anything other than being naive and overtrusting in the first place, and possibly with their friends having had a bottle or two more wine than maybe helped them all remember clearly exact times and sequences of events afterwards.
  • I really hope that it isnt true but there are odd things that keep popping into my head 1.Why did they leave the children 2.Why didnt they use the babysitting service provided by the hotel 3.If Maddie was taken by child molesters why leave the other little girl 4.No tears at any interveiw given, even when pleading for her return not a single tear
  • I am really hoping so, I don't think she killed her own child. It reminds me very much of the Lindy Chamberlain case here in Australia.
