I would think being born blind, as it would be hard to vizualize things or places or objects without a true comprehesion of what they physically look like. At least if you lost your sight you would understand and be able to picture these things.

Good question. It's kind of hard really. Because if you were blind later in life, it might be harder for you to cope with the fact that you will never see again. But if you were born that way, then that's just the way it is, and you get used to it easier. At least that's what I would think. On the other hand, if you were born blind, then you wouldn't know what colors look like, and you would probably be upset over all the beauty you never got to see. I guess it would be harder to lose it later in life, because like Da ben dan said, you would probably miss a lot of things.

Being born blind would a tragedy. Becoming blind, later in life, would be much better, if it had to be. At least a person would have had a short period of time to see. what they saw would be stored in their memory banks. if a person said to you, "what a beautiful sunrise". you would remember and understand exactly what they were saying. Never being able to see, would be just a guessing game as to what a sunrise looks like.

being born blind, you never get to see the wonders that someone who went blind did but then again you wont know what you are missing

The first one would be impossible to measure because it would have nothing to measure it with since you were always blind, the second one also is impossible to say, for the same reason, it has nothing to measure it's hardship against, since it was never determined how difficult it would be to overcome to begin with. or the second one
