  • I believe there is a fuse, also there would be a relay, both probably under the dash or wherever the fuses are located on the car. Also a lot of vehicles have a safety switch that shuts off the fuel pump when the vehicle has been hit,on a ford it is usually under the passenger side floor mat.Don't know if any of this helps.
  • look in the trunk for whats an inertia switch, it shuts the fuel pump off in case of an accident , but a hard bump will set it off to.you just have to reset the switch and start up
