  • I have more experience with automotive A/C then building A/C systems, but they work very similarly. Your problem sounds like either the system is low on refrigerant (or overfilled if it was recently recharged) or one of the pressure switches is bad. This sort of cycling is typical when the system turns on but doesn't achieve correct pressure (or a bad pressure switch makes the controller 'think' that it isn't getting to the right pressure) Good luck.
