I assume by "no papered" you mean you tried to have it classified as a juvenile offence that would not appear on your adult record. If the offence is in your adult criminal record, the only way to have it removed would be to apply to the courts for a pardon. The courts are unlikely to do this, without very good reason, until you have gotten along in life for a few more years without repeating the offence or committing any new ones. Keep your nose clean, wait a few years, and apply for a pardon. There are even businesses that will handle all of the paperwork for a fee. As for applying for work, you simply fill out the application and get on with it. I have never encountered any business that has asked me if I had a criminal record. Mind you, I never applied for work in retail, where you must handle cash - I always preferred factory work until I finished my education. Although I have a minor offence on my record, I never have had any problem passing a security check, since the charge was not considered relevant to the type of work I was performing as a professional.

If you were l9, or an adult, at the time of the shoplifting, your shoplifting charge will forever remain on your record. not sure what no papered means. either the district attorneys office or the court, declined your request for a reason. is there more involved, than you have disclosed? if your shoplifting occured as a juvenile and you were no papered, maybe an attoney should be contacted. again, both juvenile and adult shoplifting records will always be there. this is why shoplifting is such a serious charge. being convicted of a shoplifting offense can prevent you from most really good jobs, espcially government positions.
