I lived in the far western suburbs. Basically I hated it, and when we go back there 3 x a year to visit my mom I re-realize why. Too big, too congested, too commercial (I know, I know, like the rest of the US), horrible long cold gray frozen winters. I'm SOOOOOOOO glad to be out of there.
