I doubt any of them would - their god would often both infinitely punish them for it, and most likely help the child anyway, since they are often considered too young to have sinned enough for punishment.

I would in an instant, and even If I did that, God would know the reason why I did it and I could be exonerated. For there is no greater deed of Love then to lay down one’s life for another. That is what Jesus did for us. But you…I can imagine where you could end up if you had a chance and capacity to save a life but didn't. In this world, you reap what you sow… You may want to read a story in the Bible about Abraham and his only son Isaac… Also, the book “Silence” by Shusaku Endo could give you a hint how God deals with denial of “Him”. Remember – God can not be mocked…

No. Hypothetically speaking, If someone were to refuse to save a dying child unless they got a devout believer to deny their God, then that would be very sick and cruel anway. They had aught to save a child's life rather someone chose to believe in God or not. If this situation did happen, then I would have to pray and ask God for help in saving the child's life and try the best I could to save the child. I would never deny Christ though. Nothing is ever worth that. -In the service of the Master. Thank you and God bless you!
