Many think fans blowing at them is the way to go but this will only make you hotter. open one window and turn your fan out so air is blowing out of the house raise all other windows 2 inches to allow air to flow in. moving air cools faster then pushed air. and forcing hot air out will allow fresh air in.

Take a quick cool shower or run your wrists under cold cold water, it has been known to help those near heat exhaustion

Put a damp washcloth in the freezer for a bit, then once it is cold, wrap it around the back of your neck. Hope this helps!

Hey Sheep...I use A/C when really hot and open windows at night...and cold showers, trips to our pool club etc., as time allows :)
