It really depends on what I'm planning to use it for. They make different kinds for different purposes.

When i'm sewing big awning covers or party tents by myself.I use double sided tape to keep the seams that i'm sewing together from bunching up in the machine.I use regular tape alot to.Painting,grouting etc.

regular, the double-sided stuff gets stuck to my fingers.

You only listed two. You can't pick from two. Not with tape. Especially when duct tape can take the place of all tapes.
