Welcome to the AB family, you are welcome to answer any questions you wish to. Your answer is just as good if not better then most of the answer people have given to questions posted on AB.

Nah, Just go for it. :D

Some etiquette guidelines could apply I suppose, same as everywhere. Keep an open mind, respect everyone (and their opinions, despite how difficult this can sometimes be :P )
And have fun: Everything else is a bonus.

    Welcome to AB!

    As mentioned on the homepage:

"Get the best answers where there are no duplicate questions and questions are always open"

Questions are always open here on Answerbag, so anyone can answer anything they want, regardless of when the questions were posted.

Answer any question to which you can add something - a new fact or a new opinion. As long as you are adding something new, it is good to recycle old questions: they come up on the answers page and people may learn something new.

Questions remain open as long as they're not rejected as nonsense or removed for some other reason. I answered a question a few days ago from 2005!

The one thing about it though is that if they're older questions, the user who posted it may not be around anymore to point you on it. It doesn't bother me though and it shouldn't you either!

Beyond that, feel free to answer awaaaaayyyyyy!

PS Welcome to the bag! :D

You are free and encouraged to answer whatever and whenever you want. Duplicates are not allowed here so some of the original questions are older but feel free to add your point of view and more information. Bringing older questions back to life is something I really like to do myself, especially if it is an old unanswered one and there are so many of them out there.

  • Nah, go for it and answer any question you like!

Sometimes it is nice to go around and answer unanswered questions because I know how frustrating it is to ask something that no one answers, but for the most part, I answer any question I please. =)

    Welcome to AnswerBag!

I don't see a problem with it because if we weren't allowed to, AB staff might as well remove them from the database and they don't do that. We would also have to establish a guideline on "old". How old is old?
