Fishes take a while to settle when there is someone new added. Time will make them ok (given that crawdad is safe for them). Just avoid adding too many members too often.

It could be that the crayfish carried some parasite or diesease from the river or pond where it came from that affected your fish. Take a careful look at your fish and see if there is any growth or discoloration. Consult your petshop with the symptions and see if there is some remedty

A crawdad is a crayfish, and they eat fish. They are omnivores. Your fish will act funny if you introduce any new member to a tank. However, introducing a predator is obviously going to change their behavior.
