Leftover pizza and Chinese food
-
it depends on what it is
-
Only if it was good the first time.
-
I grew up eating leftovers. To me some foods taste better as leftovers.
-
Only if it is chicken tortilla soup... MMMMM better the 2nd day then the first!!!
-
Some yes some no!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Only my wifes homemade vegetable soup. Its actually better the second day.
-
Yes. Did you hear about the wife who got naked and wrapped herself up in saran wrap? When her husband got home he took one look at her and said "leftovers again!"...
-
Absolutely not! We were very poor when I was growing up and had left-overs more than regular meals. My wife couldn't believe, when we first got married, and to this day, that I have to have some form of meat for every supper, because we only had meat twice a week while I was growing up. And, one of those times was always weiners, (b-b-q'd, boiled, fried, etc.), and it was the "party pups", not real weiners. I have gotten a little better about it, (because I cook now, LoL), but I still don't like left-overs.
-
Sure! I find nothing wrong with them. Why waste food?
-
Sometimes Yes.. Some things are actually better the second time.
-
If it's something I liked in the first place, yes.
-
It depends on what food it is.
-
Yes... but only once... Not day after day after day... Unless it's thanksgiving food...
-
Lasagne always tastes better the next day :)
-
Yes, somethings taste better the day after. :D Not to mention, left overs are already cooked and just waiting to be heated up and eaten. :D So quick. :)
-
yes, some foods like chili really develop their flavours if they are allowed to sit overnight.
-
I LOVE leftovers! Whatever we have for dinner is my lunch for the next day. For instance, tomorrow I will be having chicken divan with basmati rice. It beats the hell out of fastfood, that's for sure! And I like my own cooking better than anyone else's. I KNOW what goes into my food. Not so that which comes from McD's, etc.
-
I love leftovers. I love do-overs. I love them served the same way and also changed into something else. I love well-prepared food no matter how many days after unless it goes bad. Good food isn't bad just because it's a different day of the week.
-
Not at all. I never like my food re-heated.
-
Many things, yes. Some, not so much. Steak is not good as a leftover for me as it gets overcooked and tougher with re-heating. I saw many things mentioned that get better the 2nd day, I will add spaghetti sauce to that list. I don't mind eating leftovers as it helps save money.
-
Depends...did I cook them their first go around? If so, then probably not. Leftover restaurant favorites are a whole different matter.
-
Oh, yeah... And some things I'll eat right out of the fridge (no reheating) like certain pizzas, sometimes certain meats, macaroni/cheese and smoked sausage, spaghetti (Ok... it's better reheated with cheese or Ragu Cheese Sauce), pasta with cheese sauce... LOL Slaw and other of that type salads are usually better and "juicier" the next day.
-
Lasagna and chili are always better the second time around.
-
Depends on what it is and how long it's been there.
