I agree with the other answer. If a guy is too confident it can be not only intimidating but also it could seem like the guy approaches girls all the time, this would not make the girl feel she's special. I like it when the guy is a little nervous, makes me feel like he really likes me and isn't used to approaching girls all the time. If you have never spoken to her don't ask her out right away, just chat a bit or if you are sure you will run into her again, leave her wondering if you will ask her out. Don't be desperate. -There is this guy at the gym that always smiles and looks at me, always walks by me etc.... I want him to ask me out SOOOO bad but I think he's shy. The suspense of it is driving me crazy, just making me like him more...... so don't sound too desperate or confident, she may start to like you more if you play it off kinda cool.
