I'm really not sure. In the house we used to live in, strange things would happen...but not really scarey things. Like, the curtains in my dad's bedroom would be opened when he got home from work, but he never opened them. So if it was a ghost, it just wanted a little sunlight.

My parents owned a duplex and the man in the couple they were renting to died. When he was alive he used to wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. When he passed away the toilet would flush in the middle of the night for no reason... weird,no?

no i haven't.

I have had lights turn off and on when no one was near them and several of my pets have often acted as someone was playing with them. these things have been seen by other people as well!!!!!

I thought so, as a child, but now, it seems to have gone away, so it probably wasn't anything. I wished I would have, though - ghosts are fascinating, but I don't dare to belive in them. a haunting would be proof.

Yup. I had a house that had someone in it. We called him Dominick because a guy by that name committed suicide in the house before we bought it. (Didn't know until after we bought it!) We'd hear someone walking upstairs (company would hear it, too) and doors closing and stuff like that. We'd just always say "Oh, there's Dominick".

there's a barn in my gparents backyard that a man hung himself in and sometimes when I go in there I see an outline of a noose type thing but I never see an actual ghost or whatever. at frist I thought it was a real rope but when I walked over toward it, it just vanished. sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not. other ppl have seen it too. hahaha sounds dumb -- I see a ghost rope LOL

My place is haunted. I say place and not home because I've had things moved in my detached garage. My tv changes channels by itself (usally to the Disney channel!), my computer has started up in the middle of the night, things go missing and then reappear later somewhere else, occasionally there are sounds that can't be identified, and though there's been no manifestation, we often see movement out of the corner of our eyes but there's nothing there when we turn our heads. My dogs often stare at the space above my refrigerator and their fur goes up and they growl .. and forget about them escorting me down the basement stairs! Funny thing is, I'm not afraid of whatever 'It' is. I'm only afraid of real life mean men!

No but I really want to. A genuine one though. One with voices and real stuff happening. Nothing subtle like orbs or something.

yes. I have tried to explain it away to natural happenings as i was always a scepic but i know it was para-normal as my friend experienced it too.it continued until i admitted the spirit existed and then the haunting stopped as quick as it started. This lasted for about a week. I know believe in life or our energy existing after death, hence my profile name.

Yes, I've experienced a few unexplainable events some of which scared me senseless.

No, and neither has anyone else who has ever lived.

i haven't but i have an overactive imagination so i think people are following me or are going to pop out from around corners when nobody's there.

Yeah, I have, lots of times, but my first one happened right here where I'm typing right now. I was carrying a basket full of clothes to the laundry room. It was pretty heavy, and hard for me to manage. As I stepped through the entryway into the laundry room, a small boy, maybe five or six years old went past me, in a rush of cold air. I thought it was my younger brother, but then I remembered that everyone had gone to the zoo for the day. This was so odd I set the laundry down and went to look in all the rooms, but I was right - nobody was home. Even my mom, who doesn't like the paranormal or anything admitted she'd heard a boy or boys giggling where they shouldn't have been. I myself can support that because I heard giggling on the exact opposite side of the house than the actual living boys themselves were. I'm not afraid of the ghost at all, only sad that he's gotten himself lost. I don't know how to get him to cross over.

Yes. My children, myself, AND my skeptic of an ex husband, have stories to tell.

an old African American man had an heart attack and died in my house. every other night there appears to be a shadowy figure standing in the doorway. in the daytime when i'm in a room by myself i hear someone other than me breathing. when i turn to see if someone is there it stops and well you know... nothing's not there. Sometimes I even see human like movement in the corner of my eye.
