It's very politically correct and I don't see why its nothing other than a great multi-racial cast. I hope it is well acted though and not some piece of ham.

I think it's great! I remember in high school, our director was doing Romeo and Juliet, and the best person for Romeo happened to be black, but since the rift between Capulet and Montegue is never identified, she didn't want anyone to think it was over race, which it wasn't, so she cast a black woman for Juliet's mom, an Asian for one of Romeo's parents, and a white girl for his mom. I thought it was cool, just to be colorblind. But she got trashed for just that.

It's about as close to the truth as any other version. Might as well do it with pigs and armadillos, for that matter.
