  • Go to my job. Sit in front of a computer for 12 hours listening to sirens and bells and phones ringing the whole time, then come home and clean for a bit, fight with my boyfriend, then sleep. You'll be begging for your life back! lol.

  • Sit in a chair next to a bed and hold the hand of someone who is dying. Listen to their stories and regrets . When they cry...hug them. Keep their secrets. If they are angry or depressed, let them talk it out. Try to get them to eat or drink. If they have an accident, clean them up giving them as much dignity as you can while doing it. If they are in a coma...talk to them, they can still hear. If there eyes are bad, read to them. Bring something when you visit, it doesn't have to expensive. Tokens of affection brightens their spirit. Try to look relaxed , no matter how bad the patient looks. Don't pressure them into telling you how they feel. If they want to talk about it they will. Keep your beliefs,values, and religion to yourself. Don't bring up the words death or dying unless they bring it up. Be respectful. That is my day and it is a blessing for me to be in their presence.
  • Get up,feed the pets,make breakfast for my hubby who arises whenever,clean the house,call my mother, talk to my sister and daughter on msn.Ward off the telemarketers,pay bills via the phone,mow the lawn when needed,which is just about every second day with all the rain we are getting.Go to the grocery store.Work on whatever home reno we have going on.It's the kitchen ceiling repairs this week.Check my AB answers. Entertain my Grandaughter as she has been staying with us this week.Smile,laugh cry,worry. Gezz,I'm tired ,just thinking I will do it all again tomorrow.
