Why did the Starbucks people put my Mocha Light Frappuccino inside a cup inside another cup? I don't understand the function of two cups.

Sometimes they double-cup if they run out of those sleeve things. It is because the cup is very hot, and it prevents you from burning your hand.

Because if you hold the first one, it's likely to burn your hands off. If you have a cup inside a cup, it insulates it a bit so you don't drop the entire thing or burn the skin off your hands.

Is it a hot drink? If it is then they probably did that so yo udidn't burn your hands while holding it!

Really want to know? The second cup acts as insulation and keeps it cold...so you can take your time...and it doesn't melt before you're through.
