  • Maybe there were rocks on the pack and it was so heavy he couldn't move and didn't have the strength to take the pack off so he fell down and died from starvation and dehydration? I'm just grasping at straws here.

  • Oh yeah- this one- he was a scuba diver who got picked out of the water by one of those hydro-plane thingies and then he died upon impact of falling into the fire...yeah. people actually used to believe this story- but on mythbusters it was proved impossible to be sucked up by a hydro plane- thus this is just an old wives tale that keeps getting retold.

  • Maybe he was just going on a walk with a pack on his back,then had a heart attack and died. Or he suicided by drinking poison. Or there may have been an electric cable in the ground and he tripped over the cable smashing his head into a rock which rock was in fact a tree but he couldn't tell the difference because he died. Or the pack may be a pack-man that strangles its wearers to death. Or a huge meteorite might have fallen on earth,creating ash clouds that poisoned everybody including that man. Or he ma just be playing dead. Or he may have been run over by a car,a motorcycle,or an airplane.
  • What kind of pack? A pack of cigarettes? he smoked himself to death... or a pack of gum? He chewed the whole pack at one time and choked to death on it... A pack filld with pot? he died smiling!!!
