Help answer this question below.

I have a table and chair set that is painted black...I want to paint it white. What's the best way to make it look good without having to sand or strip the whole thing? Can I just put a couple coats of white paint over the black and have it look okay?

    Paint the table first with stain block. It's like a primer, but it doesn't let anything bleed through the paint. Then you can paint the table whatever color you want. Good Luck

    CuppyCake is actually missing Ohio...

    I would use a coat of primer first then paint it. It would take you several coats of white if you don't put a primer on it.

    lightly scuff it with scotchbrite pads then a coat of primer, then your white ;)

    Make sure you prime it first with white primer and then a High Gloss white paint.
    This should do the trick
