Not entirely..some labels are very good..such as "kind", "helpful", "loving"...negative labels/stereotypes, however...no room for them in a society that values respect for others. :)

Sure. As humans we process information and categorize it for convenience. It's how we choose to use the information that can become problematic. I think stereotyping originates with laziness - if we're too lazy to evaluate each person or circumstance for itself, we put it in a convenient pigeonhole. Unfortunately, this convenience amounts to injustice, because we train ourselves to take in only the information that already fits our theories. If we treated everyone justly, we'd have no preconceived notions and no expectations, but would take each person as they truly are.

as far as the labels or stereotypes that most of us think of automatically as being negative, hurtful or hateful, Absolutrely! I hate that we have to have terms such as He is white; she is black; he is Gay, she is bi-racial, etc. "Different" isn't always the most negativo word, but it implies it when speaking to a throng of like-minded people. Why can't we just be people and leave it at that. But I believe, good and bad and kind and cruel, should be applied when necessary. Who knows if we will ever see it disappear in our lifetime, but we can dream, can't we?

Yes it would be. But, unfortunately, we have them. No one has the right to judge others. Accepting others for who they are is the best solution.
