Yes. I had to overcome social conditioning to do so though. I think the taboos around death and depictions in horror films have made society see it as a scary thing to do. Actually I find cemetries to be places of peace.

No. Most cemeteries are closed after dusk. They don't want you in there for a reason. Suppose you are walking around and there is a freshly dug grave that they forgot to cover with a wooden board, you just might fall in and not be able to climb out on your own. Furthermore, these places are frequented by those that drink and do drugs and don't want to be bothered. I would set myself up for becoming a victim of some type of violence.

I grew up living next to one, and used to walk the dog there last thing at night. I think the word I'm looking for is 'comfortable'. It really would be like being 5 again, or 10, or 15 or 20.

A graveyard is just as dangerous as a park at night. That's when all the vagrants and criminals come out.

I'd be comfortable. I used to play hide and seek in a cemetary. It's a small country church cemetary, nobody is around. It's also where a whole lot of my family are buried. So I feel close to them. Of course if it was a different cemetary I might would feel different!

I like going to the graveyard to visit my husband, and I prefer to do it at night, so I can be alone with him.

i dont think i can because i think it is closed...if i wasnt then i would. I wouldnt be scared of the dead i'd be scared of people or bums hanging out there as well.

Yes. It isnt nearly as creepy as it sounds. Its almost.. comforting. I have yet to visit my moms grave.. Though she has been dead for five years now. Just cant bring myself to. Though wandering around the rest of the graveyard is.. nice. Peaceful. ~+~

Yes. Mind you, I was half way through there before I realized where I was. "Oh well", I thought, "If it hasn't bothered me yet then it shouldn't be a problem for the rest of the way."

Why not? DEAD folks are more harmless than living ones. BTW, when you are a kid in high school, a cemetery is the PERFECT place for "park 'n sex." LOL

Is the cemetery accompanied by a creepy looking church and surrounded by cornfeilds or woods? If so, probably not.

I have willingly chosen to walk through the cemetary in the town i live on many occasions, i would say it is the safest most quiet place to walk through. ps. im sure spirits have better places to be than hanging about where they are buried :)

I would rather walk through the cemetery at night than walk through the ghetto at night.
