  • I am for peace for all animals except those who violate my domain.
  • I'm for it, wolves can hunt all they want to as far as I'm concerned.
  • Hunting is cool. I of course like reaping the benfits of the meat.
  • I am for hunting in general as part of an overall Conservation strategy. When there is an imbalance, neither predator or prey can survive. Having said that, I think wolves are beautiful, amazing creatures.
  • Against.
  • Only if there are limits to how many that can be killed.
  • I don't see the purpose in it. They make the other animals stronger. They test the caribou, eating the diseased and young who aren't strong enough. The keep the flocks and the herds healthier. Only man with his artificial herds and flocks sees 'numbers' as the important stat and doesn't care about health and stamina. I say, let the wolves continue their assignment in the animal kingdom as the separator of strong and weak, healthy and diseased. Man's aim isn't as discriminating or effective:-) Edit: How nice we were visited by someone that thinks hunting wolves is a good idea.

  • A balance between sport and population control is a fine line. And I believe that man is not smart enough to figure out the proper balance.
  • This is why I'm against hunting of any kind:
  • I'm for wolf hunting to keep populations at a reasonable level. The wolf population here has increased to the point that they are killing domestic livestock, Horses, LLamas and cows etc. Idaho and Montana both have begun enacting legislation allowing for a limited number of wolf hunting permits because the packs have grown larger and faster than expected and their numbers and enviromental impact has increased to the point that the wolves are finding it easier to kill domestic animals than wild ones.
  • I'm not for hunting anything that will not be used. It is senseless slaughter since there are too many deer running around out there that it would be nice to have a check on the balance of a herd that has gone out of control in many regions due to the loss of a natural predator.
  • I'm completely opposed to having wolfs hunt me. I'm not even in season!!
  • It depends on the area and the state of the wolf population in the area. Wolves are a problem in some areas, but not many. If the wolf population is so great that it's beginning to prey on domestic cattle, perhaps it's time to cull the population a bit. Dwindling habitat is one of the causes of the perceived problems. Coyotes are much more of a problem in the US than wolves, and I'm all for coyote hunting....
  • i would be for it but its endangered but i do like to see wolf trophies and apparel
  • All for it because I wear wolf fur and it looks awsome.
  • I have never tasted wolf, but I am against hunting them for fun. I will probably get down rated, go ahead, but I can see a lot people killing for the purpose of selling wolf fur. We were discussing this yesterday.
  • OF COURSE I AM!!! its cruel and pointless, how would you feel if you were being hunted for your skin! Wolves do have nice fur, but it is meant to be on alive wolves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hunters are cruel and really out of tone with any type of nature. They are pathetic to think its fun to kill any animal.
  • Only for it if their numbers are to high...but since that is not the case I am against it.
