Ask my brother! For some unknown reason, he avoids me. He doesn't answer my communications - his wife does. Through her, they decline all of our invitations to our house, say for a BBQ, etc. I only ever see him at my parents' house where he is civil. He's quite volatile and will take offence to the slightest thing so I've probably unwittingly said something, he, in turn, has misunderstood and taken offence to. I feel like I'm walking around on eggshells near him. It's sad but that's the way he chooses to be.
