yes ,i lived far enough north but ive had friends who have lost everything...they are still fighting w/an unamed insurance company (state farm).

Yes, my town was over-run by the people escaping it. They trashed the place. It was unreal. They were in the grocery store parking lot and would not even walk over to the provided trash cans to throw things away, they just threw them beside their cars. I saw it. Empty trash cans a few feet away and they were just throwing things on the ground. The sight was incredible. The rap was blaring, most were drunk, it was like a big party in the parking lot at the grocery.

I wasn't affected by it...other than the sympathy and empathy I felt for those poor people.
