The word is "intersex" now- hermaphrodite is an archaic term, and creates misconceptions. Most people think of hermaphrodites as having a complete set of both male and female organs, when the reality for intersex people is they have just one set of organs that are ambiguous as to which gender they are. Different intersex individuals live their lives differently- some as male, some as female, some prefer what is known as "genderfuck" which means completely embracing their ambiguity by dressing and acting somewhere inbetween.

I'm not. Many times the parents will make the decision as to which cosmetic surgery to perform. Parents are now waiting to observe their child for clues as to what gender the brain is and later introducing them accordingly. Some are even waiting until the child is old enough to make a choice as to whether to have the surgery and which direction to go. Hormonal injections are common as well.

hi iam a hermaphrodite for real iam now 18 years old and my parends decide thate the let it stay when i was born and not let the docters take away one of my genitals so iam no having a penis thats works and a vagina so iam both but for me its no prblem iam looking as woman my body so iam livng as a woman but whiote to genitals in my pants
