Does birth control pills make women gain weight?

A lot of the different types of BC has weight gain as a possible side effect. Does this mean that every woman who takes them gains it? No. It varies from person to person. I have noticed upon doing research that almost every person I've found that uses the depo-provera shot as BC will gain at least some amount of weight...as for the others, it depends on the person. I've taken a few different brands of BCPs and haven't had any weight issues.

I don't know for sure about that, but (and this might make people downrate me if I say it, but I don't care) I don know that one common side affect of birth control is an increased risk of breast cancer(90% increased risk).
