Nice analogy. I do think there is a downside to being TOO open minded, as you are not as judicious as to what you let in and what you don't.
-
See thats my head and I am this open, but my brain didn't fall off! But that should be the limit. LOL
-
I am openminded and I believe I still have a few brain cells left. Not many mind you but a few.
-
Literally, no. Figuratively... sure, go for it. It's certainly possible to be too open-minded.
-
Yes, mine fell out; I now carry it in a basket. LOL!!
-
Cute question. ha ha ha THUMP. Oops, there they gooooo
-
Yes. Just as it is possible to be so closed minded that your brain implodes... They can both be dangerous to your health.
-
Open-minded is good. Naive acceptance is bad.
-
LOL! What an image! :)
-
Don't know off the top of my head.
-
Yes they are called Democrats.
-
LOL!!! I hope not!! Im going to start being more closed-minded just to be on the safe side!! :P
-
Absolutely. Just look at 80% of the politicians out there.
-
Maybe not, the most open minded people I know have so little gray matter that it's not likely they have anything to spare. If by being open minded you mean they will believe anything someone else says, not because they believe it, but because someone convinced them to make no distinction between what is real and make believe. Open mindedness is a failed fantasy of the ultra liberals.
-
I don't think you can ever be too open-minded. I think a closed-minded person would think your brain would fall out if you were but being the open-minded person that I am, I'd like to think that if it did it would just make more room to grow another brain!
-
Any one who tells you that doesn't want you to think for your self. If you are open minded then you might find that what they taught you is wrong.
-
YES!! So that's what happened. "Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most!"
-
No no no no. Its the fact that your brain has a mind of its own. So if you're super open-minded, then your brain's brain would fall out, causing a massive headache that not even Aleve could relieve. I don't know, sorry.
