Two things have worked for me: 1) Put ice on the bite until the skin is very cold. 2) Use Benadryl cream (it has Benadryl for the allergic itching and cortisone for the swelling) on the bite and then cover with a band-aid so that nothing causes the itch to start again.

Put some baking soda on them. (wet baking soda).

Hydrocortisone cream...works every time.

I use Benadryl gel works instantly on any itch.

I prefer a product called "After Bite". It works great and gives fast relief. It uses ammonia so it has a smell to it.

rub a little wet lye soap on the infected area to make a lite paste...stops itching and disinfects the infected area as well...

I keep a roll-on deodorant/antiperspirant around and give it a little dab. If I get it right away before scratching at all, and it's gone the next day.

calamine lotion..a little dab will do ya..Hell it worked for measles and chicken pox...mosquito bite no problem.
