I have been buying jewellry on Ebay for years. I can only tell you how I judge jewellry. I only buy from sellers who are in the same country. They must have good feedback. They must provide a alternate address and contact number if anything goes wrong and I am not happy with my jewellry. Also shop around in the stores to get a good idea what you want, ask jewellers questions about diamond size and quality and then take your knowledge with you online and ask those questions of the seller. I have never had a problem with the jewellry I have purchased and have had several good deals. My only warning is DONOT get carried away with bidding or you will end up paying too much. Do not bid until the end and only bid up to what you think it is worth to you.

I purchased a diamond ring on ebay. I paid approx $600 for it and had it appraised for $7500. You can get some really amazing prices if you know what to look for. Always buy from a seller in your country. Always check thier previous auctions/feedback. If you think it is too good to be true, it likely is. I stay away from large sellers and stores, purchase from a regular person. Many people sell items with appraisals. Good Luck!
