Hey BD good to see you! We wanted to all have the same initials so it wasn't too hard choosing names. I had boys so there weren't too many boys names to choose from with the letter "T".

My brother wasn't named for a while. My mum had her heart set on Ben, but dad liked Paul... so he was known as Baby for 3 weeks, afterwhich mum inevitably won the war! I was called Amy before I was even born. Infact seeing as my brother is older, he was also called Amy before he was born, but then he appeared with an additional appendage and my parents were thrown all off course. x

Yes, we had a terrible time.. He has a 5 year old daughter by a different woman.. We were moving, my mom came down to help us pack and asked her what we should name the baby in my belly.. She came up with the most bizarre name out of the blue.. At first I hated it, then decided that a)this would quash the disagreement between us future parents, b)she would be such a proud older sister and c)if he hates it when he grows up, I can blame her!

It sounds awful but when I was pregnant I went to Tesco one afternoon (grocery shopping) & just as I put my trolley back, I heard a woman shouting for her boy (by name) to get in the car - told Husband and that was that. The only other thing we considered was whether or not the name we picked would end up being the butt of every school joke - we picked something that other children would be less likely to poke fun at.

No, the first name I suggested was what we went with. Everyone was happy with it, except my daughter.
