  • We've pumped in to the order of 10^17 joules of energy as kinetic energy only into single particles in particle accelerators, it's been tested to a very stringent limit (including checking time dilation for relative particles and comparing this to their radioactive dependancy).... Going from v<c to v>c IS impossible!
  • I hold out the hope that someday we will find a way around the light barrier. However, at this time there is not indication as to how we can do that.
  • Good question themoviemogul. I've wondered the same thing myself. I agree with you, but maybe there's something I don't understand. So I really don't know.
  • Someone already proved Einstien wrong - i can't remember his name but this should help you. http://einsteinhoax.com/ i'll write back again if i remember the name.
  • e=mc2 is all i really know about einstein's theory of relativity but I think that travelling at the speeed of light is kind of excessive. It would be fun to see the visual version of a sonic boom though.
  • Einstein was a true genius, but the problem with theories is they are not facts. The particle I discovered, the Graviton, a fact, travels in excess of 10,000 times the speed of light. Gravitons are what cause gravity & inertia...Alfred Herman Schrader
