I did a college senior internship in the Philadelphia M.E.'s office, so the answer for me is yes. It's not pleasant but it's oddly fascinating.

No. Never. After watching one that was very painful and someone very closely related, or just about anyone, I just can't handle it. <shrudders>

God no, I go all woozy just at the thought.

Yes I would as I do have a strong stomach and I would see it as a learning experience, I am actually use to it as I install computer equipment into theatres at hospitals often.

*shudder* No. No no no no no. I don't like seeing it in movies...people getting cut open and ripped apart. Even in a sterile, controlled environment, I couldn't watch it happening....

emmm, would love to watch an operation, but for some reason dont think i could stomach an autopsy..maybe because the person is dead?? i dont know.. but nope, dont think so.

No. It is hard enough for me to view a body at a wake. I would prefer to remember them up and about. A funeral effects me for days afterward. All I can see is the person laying there with their eyes closed. I really don't understand it when people say. "Wow they did a good job on ........they look really good." NO THEY DON'T, THEY ARE DEAD.

Heck yeah! I find such things fascinating. I'm not gross or morbid, I just have a fascination of anatomy inside and out. And it's incredible what can be learned by this procedure! Murder investigations, unexplained death, how the body works...Just awesome.

I've watched a live TV broadcast of an autopsy, although I don't suppose it's the same. In answer to your question, I think I would if given the opportunity.

No, i'd never be able to look at another person without wondering what their guts looked like.

well its the only part at the funeral home I haven't seen yet, don't see why not. I work at a cemetery any way and have worked at hospitals also over the years. Maybe I ask ?
