I thought they were called Click Clacks. I remember them well. Someone on AB months ago said that had several pair and would send me one. I have yet to receive my "Quick Clacks"! I had a Chatty Cathy. I believe you can still buy reproductions of her.

i remember it & i had one. my favorite toy was probably the nintendo though. (the original)

One of my sisters owned a Quick Klack. I had some of the first Hot Wheel cars that were produced, like the 1967 Camaro - first Hot Wheel car produced.
