  • It's funny because I think about that often...I am 24 and moved out of my parents house when I was 19. I had my own apartment in college, but I still always thought of my parent's house as my "home." Now that I have been living with my bf for the past 1 1/2 year, I have not been going to my parents' house as much and have started to think of the place I share with my bf as more of my home. although mom & dad's house will ALWAYS be my house too. I still sleep in my old room when I go there, still take afternoon naps on the couch etc. some things change, but other things I think will always be the same.
  • Right now my home is my parent's house where I have lived all my life; and having never moved house, i'm really attached to it and it'd take an awful lot of time before I could call somewhere else home x
  • Mine.... all mine.
  • I have a bit of a "wherever I lay my hat..." sort of feeling about it. My Dad no longer lives in the house I grew up in, I tend to move house myself at least once a year, I've lived with a couple of different partners, on my own, with friends, in box rooms, hotel rooms, houses, flats, other people's sofas and a static caravan. One day I suppose I would like to find somewhere I felt comfortable calling "home", but I'm not there yet.
  • I feel that my present home that I'm living is my home but when I visit my parents in upstate NY I say "I'm going home". So both places I guess...
