I'm afraid it wouldn't work. I was in a rec room once playing Chopin and jazz on the piano and some of the young guys asked me to stop--to them, no music at all was better than either. And it has been found that if you want to clear out loitering slackers that make it hard for your business, piping Bach and Mozart out to the sidewalk makes them leave. For that matter, I wouldn't stay for 30 seconds listening to rap or hip-hop, and God forbid I should ever have to listen to either one long enough to learn the difference, although I appreciate rock, though mainly from the 50's and 60's.

Youssou N'Dour (He helped develop popular music in Senegal, known in the Wolof language as mbalax, a blend of the country's traditional griot percussion and praise-singing with the Afro-Cuban arrangements and flavors which made the return trip from the Caribbean to West Africa in the 1940s, 50s, and 60s and have flourished in West Africa ever since.) Edit: See video with Peter Gabriel!
