If it is sitting on your property, your not driving it You wont get a ticket, if the police see you driving and see its expired than yes they can do something. Unless your car is to be repo, they cant do anything about it.

If i sell a car to someone from another state, and i take my current plates off my car ,as they are in my name... what or how does the seller go about "plating" it to drive back to their own state?
