  • I failed Chem the first time I took it. The second time, I started relating the things I was learning to everything around me. Like with, the geometric shapes I seen some Massaging things in bath and body works and some of them looked like a Triginol Pyramidal, and Octahedral ect. I started to learn that everything around me had to do with chem, like the Viscosity of my drinks, the soap you wash your body with all has to do with Chemistry. I ended up with a 3.9 the second time I took it.
  • frequently. It is what lead me to believe that as long as you listen and try, you are truly learning something. I amaze myself at the weird things I know or can do b/c of a random lesson!! Isn't life fun???
  • I was in the boy scouts growing up. I even made Eagle Scout. In highschool I didn't talk about it because is was just another reason for kids to make fun of me. Be prepared was out motto. Two weeks ago, at the golf course, a man had been stung by a bee. He was allergic and unprepared for this. Im not allergic to bees, but I carry an EpiPen with me just for this reason. There are a lot of bees this time of year at De la Viega Santa Cruz. When his friends started to scream, I ran like the wind and handed him the EpiPen. The guy was so grateful, He bought me and my family Dinner at a REALLY nice place. I use the things I learned in the scouts almost on a daily basis. But back then, I didn't want anyone to find out.
