Most times people do. A man is measured by the number and quality of his personal belongings.

I don't. I couldn't say for most people. Probably the wealthier you are, the more you and other people are likely to equate who you are with what you have. If I suddenly didn't have the things I have now, the person I am wouldn't suddenly disappear as well. My material possessions are not a PART of me.

I have priceless things. Memories. I loathe the thought of having a huge home and expensive things weighing me down. I just have an exciting life, and bitchen things that I love. Maybe someday that will change. Some people think that they are successful once they own a home, are married with children, and have expensive cars. To me that is boring. It reminds me of my Aunt and Uncle.
