  • The human loses. If you have ever hit a deer you will understand the damage that hitting a living being can do - Gorillas can weight in at 500 pounds humans around half of that. Mass is mass, be it 500 pounds of meat or 500 pounds of steel it still leads to the same amount of damage. And it can be fatal for the driver, especially when speeding so fast. Further bodies bounce and roll up and over the hood, through the windshield. I rather have a human being coming through my windshield than a full grown adult gorilla. Again the mass issue plays a roll. I could survive a human body being flung at my face through a windshield - my chances of survival drop dramatically with 500 pounds of dying gorilla. Of course you make an assumption that I would drive 90 miles per hour through this crazy part of town were gorillas roam free. Further I have been in every state in the union and all of them (Yep even Montana) have set speed limits - 75 being the highest - so there is no doubt in my mind that for me to be driving there is a speed limit and 90 Mph is well over that speed limit. I have never ever gotten a traffic ticket - I got a parking ticket once - once and that was wrongly applied to me since my car was loaned out to an irresponsible person who never loaned my car again.
  • The gorilla, I love animals, but not to the extent of sacrificing a human life.
  • Hitting a cement truck at that speed would automatically kill you. And I couldn't live with the guilt if I killed another human. I'd aim for the gorilla but only if I'm driving a huge semi because hitting a gorilla in a regular sedan or couple would kill you too.
  • Sorry, I'd have to go for the human because there's less chance that I'd get killed. Gorillas are big things, you know. Fortunately it's a hypothetical question and I'll never have to make the choice.
  • Gorilla. I shouldnt end up in jail at least.
  • ...I tuck and roll and hope for the best. It'd be a losing situation if I hit any of them.
  • None. I wouldnt be driving that fast and I stop for pedestrians and other crossing things :)
  • The gorilla would buy it.
  • I'll hit the cement truck...
  • Why the heck would I be doing 90 mph on a road that had cross traffic. That isn't legal anywhere I know of, and I don't break the law. If I'm doing the speed limit, which I would be, I have plenty of time to hit the brakes or the ditch, leaving the gorilla, the human and the concrete truck to continue unharmed.
