  • I sure hope its not..i have heard rumor that it happens here..because of it my dog is never left in his yard unattended...this practice sickens me!
  • Dog fighting is prevalent in my state, Louisiana. It's not legal but it goes on. There are always adds in the papers for a certain type of pit bull. There is no reason to describe a dog with characteristics like large head and strong jaws unless you are wanting to fight him. We are the only state that still allows cock fighting. It's disgusting and hopefully will be over with soon.
  • Dogfighting and cockfighting are known to exist in the larger cities in our state. Every few years I'll read a story in the newspaper concerning this.
  • I live in a state where there are lots of people from other countries where dog-fighting and cock fighting are common, so it goes on a lot where I live but it's "underground" because it isn't very acceptable here even if it were legal, which I don't believe it is. I think it's a cruel, sick practice and those who are caught participating or attending should be deported immediately if they can't prove they're here legally and our legal residents/citizens should be criminally punished. What does it say about a person if (s)he get his/her kicks from watching animals get torn to shreds for "sport"? Sick in the head if you ask me and I think it's a sure red flag that they are capable of doing a wide variety of sick, cruel and illegal things to innocents anywhere and everywhere.
