  • In my opinion, yes he was. He was a major contributor to science, and in his efforts and works, The Newton laws were in force. 1. Newton's First Law states that an object at rest tends to stay at rest and that an object in uniform motion tends to stay in uniform motion unless acted upon by a net external force. 2. Newton's Second Law states that an applied force, which states that the acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the magnitude of the net force acting on the object and inversely proportional to its mass. 3. Newton's Third Law states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
  • More than that, he was an unparalleled genius. He realized that the planets are in orbit thanks to the same force that keeps things on the ground. He made major discoveries in optics, and invented calculus. He got a little kooky with some of his alchemy stuff, but who knows if he really wasn't onto something. Brilliant is kind of an understatement.
