  • Our concept of light, and it's relationship with the rest of the world, probably would not exist. However, Light is a physical property. It can be observed as a wave or a particle, which means that it can have Mass or Frequency. Our eyes merely interpret certain wavelengths of the Light. So, yes, Light would still exist. =)
  • Some creatures that live at vast depths in the oceans where there is no light do not have eyes, therefore the eyes are a requirement of the light existing
  • Light would indeed still exist. What we perceive as light is simply a small band of the electromagnetic spectrum. The reason we can "see" this narrow band is it's the most plentiful one given off by our Sun. If this was not the case, say for example we had x-ray sight, we'd be very blind as the sun gives off hardly any x-rays at all. As many people say, just because there is no evidence of it, doesn't mean there is evidence of it not existing.
  • Yes. Light is just one kind of electromagentic radiation. There are many other kinds (such as X-rays, microwaves, radio , WLAN, etc), which neither humans nor other animals can "see" -- neither with eyes nor with any other organs. Yet they exist.
  • If you believe in evolution light exisited long before plants, animals, and people.
  • Yes, light would still exist, however, sound would not exist if there was no one to hear it. Sound waves are just particles bouncing into each other- they only make 'sound' when our ears convert these waves into something we can hear.
  • How would you know? ;D
