Mobile phone compatibility

I have a T-Mobil prepaid SIM card. My old phone is not holding a charge and I need to purchase a new phone. How do I know if a phone will be compatible with my SIM card?

You have to get a T-moble phone, or an unlocked phone. I would go with the T-mobile since an unlocked phone may not have all the features that the carrier offers.

So long as the phone you plan to purchase it Tmobile branded (bears the Tmobile logo) you should be in the clear. Also any "unlocked" GSM phone should also work.
