How about asking something that would be of interest to your honey?..something that he is good at, knowledgeable about, and enjoys. Does he like tennis? Who is the best tennis player who ever lived? Is he a history buff? What would have happened had Hitler been ridiculed early in his "career" rather than taken seriously? How would that have played out? :)

Take a vacation to the northerneast states this weekend and enjoy the foliage, helps clear the mind. Just get out and about, living where you do, I don't possibly see how you can run out of inspiration.
