  • I had a friend back visting from out of town. We went to a local diner for lunch and the waitress sat down at the table and proceded to tell us how she had been arrested the night before and had to hide her stash up where it wouldn't be found. She described how often she had to check on it and share with her cellmates. She liked us for listening and said whe would personally handle our order. Um, check please! We didn't touch a bite of our food and we still laugh in amazement about that adventurous lunch.
  • I was sitting in the car waiting for my husband to go in and get our pizza from a chain that usually drives to your home. I could see them making the pizzas through the window. I saw one lady throw the pizza up in the air, like they do, but she dropped it. She picked it up and continued making the pie! I went inside, got my husband and we never ate there again, thank you!!!
  • Italian restaurant, I had to use the ladies which was outside, the cook was taking a pee in the bushes and as I followed him back into the restaurant I watched him toss the spaghetti with his hands. I lost my appetite that night.
  • i think when I was a kid I saw the waiter licking his fingers.... i don't remember the specifics but I remember my mother making a scene
  • Navy ship. Rubbing one out in the Ranch dressing. I ate Ramen from the ship's store for QUITE a while after that.
  • My cousin worked at a "Taco Bell" knock-off, (I think it was something like "Taco Casa" or something similar), and one night he was bringing up a new pan full of taco meat (about 10 lbs. worth). He stumbled and dropped it all over the kitchen floor. We asked the boss what to do, and he took a dust pan, picked it all up, and put it out to serve. Needless to say, we never ate the nightly left-overs any more!
  • That would make me leave. I was at Taco Bell and saw the girl bagging the food act like she was going to throw up and put her hand over her mouth several times and just keep on working. At I Hop I watched the cook continuously wipe the sweat off his face with his bare hands and just keep on cracking eggs and cooking. No hand washing there at all.
  • I walked into a buffet type restaurant once and on my way to the bathroom to wash my hands I saw a guy carrying a huge vat of fried chicken and he had a cigarette hanging out of his mouth with an ash about an inch long. I turned around, grabbed my husband by the hand and we walked right back out the door.
  • I went to this little diner once, and the waitress was standing at the end of the counter. She had this horrible rash that was all around her nose and mouth. She had a jar of vick's vapor rub, and was applying it to her rash in plain view of customers..running it up her nose and everything.. It was really nasty.
  • I was at the drive thru window at Taco Bell and watched as the person who was preparing our food A) did not wear plastic gloves and B) licked her fingers. I asked for the manager, told her what I saw and asked for a refund.
  • My friend went to a fast food restaurant once and at the drive thru and she saw the lady digging up her nose, my friend and her hubby left.
  • Oh wow I think I'm going to be sick, home cooking from now on sounds really good about now(gag reflex). I personally worked with a woman who brought her kidney stone that she passed to work & spoke of poking her finger up her hubby's butt that morning for fun. She never washed her hands but always talked about how nasty she thought blah blah was & the whole time I worked with her I only seen her wash her hands once. But she was talking about how she had to get in the toilet & get the kidney stone(GAG, GAG), I told the boss because she was really bad for grabbing the food from the deli case with her bare hands. But the worse thing I seen was on TV when that cook that got angry at a customer peed in the coffee & served it to whom ever. It was caught on camera thankfully he was fired & prosicuted for his actions. I was so glad when she quit, she was also the cook.
