If a cat breeds with a dog, Is it possible for the cat to get pregnant and deliver mutants ( or what im assuming would be mutated cat/dogs?

They can't breed with each other - it just doesn't do anything. (Infact, I think the case is that it -cant- do anything, given that the two species are so different)

While painful, it is necessary for feline reproduction. Dog penises are not adorned with such devices, so the eggs would not be released and made possible for fertilization. This is the first step towards preventing dog+cat hybridization. Then there is the little chromosome thing. They don't match up well enough to create a viable organism. So, no dats.

It's impossible. Their chromosome dont' match up and they can't breed together. They are frm two completely different families of mammals.

Yeah, it would be something like a Centaur, only this is a cat's head with a dog's body or viceversa. It would actually be better if you bread your canary and your hamster. Think of the possibilities!
