  • well, it depends... i like to fight, so in that situation, i'd probably stay calm, but in a scary moment, i'd freak!
  • I'm pretty easy going and generally stay pretty calm.
  • I'm usually calm and handle the crisis, and then I fall apart afterwards! Exception would be in a spook house! I don't DO spook houses!
  • It depends on the situation. If it is extremely stressful or scary, I might get uptight or frightened. Otherwise, I would remain calm and not fightened.
  • I stay calm in stressful situations...in fact sometimes when there's a crisis at work the higher-ups get frustrated that I'm "not doing anything about it" because I'm not running around like my hair's on fire...thankfully my boss knows better and can explain to them that I am doing everything possible.
  • I am usually very calm and manage streess well. At least until the crisis has passed.
  • Both. In such a situation my mind goes to straight intellect. I can feel the adrenaline rush in my body but it does not reach my brain. This allows me to utilize my intellect fully without emotional interference or interference from the fight or flight response. Hence, my body is in panic mode but my mind is in logic mode. When the crisis is done and I relax, I am shaking if it was a severe situation. This is something that has taken me decades to learn to do.
  • I remain very calm.
  • OH , COME ON PEOPLE !!! BE HONEST! You mean to tell me that in the classic "flight or fight" scenario, I'm the only flyer! I guess it matters what you call stressful and scary. I don't run out of the office when I'm overwhelmed. But if a tattooed gang of hoodlums with snarling pitbulls are coming my way, I'm crossing - no FLYING- across the street, down the road and to grandmothers house I go. All you Bravehearts can feel free to stand them down : D btw- good question Gracin!
  • Those who say that they remain very calm. Imagine your loved ones in in a room beside yours in with a glass wall separating you from them. You can not get to them in any way and you see them burning for example. You know that after a few minutes they will be dead and you can not help in any way. Still will not freak out? I thought so. So now stop playing the cool guys and girls and accept the fact that you DO FREAK OUT in stressful sitations.
  • I don't know how I do it, but yes, I do stay calm and can work through the scariest things somehow! I don't now how but I'm glad I do.
  • Stay calm during the stressful or scary situation..if I am gonna freak, it will be afterwards.:)
